This brochure is for anyone who abhors the thought of taking the life of their own child by abortion.

The Facts
If you are using one of these four products, what I’m about to tell you will be painful. If you are considering their use, you need to know the truth about them.

You conceive children on these products
Birth control advocates and manufacturers have known these facts for years. They withheld the facts, and continue to do so. When chemists devised the Pill that debuted in 1960, they gave it a huge dose of a chemical causing your ovaries to cease secreting an egg (i.e., stop ovulation). The theory was “no egg, no pregnancy.”

However, you do secrete eggs while on the Pill and its cousins. In fact, conservative estimates predict that, while you are on the Pill, your ovaries will secrete an egg from 2-10% of the time. (1)

Breakthrough Ovulation
They call this “breakthrough ovulation.” Breakthrough ovulation also causes a natural thinning of your cervical mucous. This thinning defeats a Pill mechanism which thickens this mucous and hinders sperm migration. So the sperm migrate more easily to meet your egg. (2)

When a sperm penetrates your egg, it is fertilized (conception), and you have a brand new son or daughter. From this time onward, your child is as complete genetically as he or she will ever be throughout life. (3)

These Products Cause Abortions
The third mechanism of the Pill is designed to kill any son or daughter you happen to conceive. This mechanism slows the secretions of your fallopian tubes. These secretions transport your newly conceived child home to your womb. (5) Many children stave to death before reaching the womb.

If your baby survives the purposely slowed ride to your womb, the Pill causes your womb’s lining to reject your child’s attempts to attach, make a home, receive nourishment, and grow. (4) Your baby starves to death.

Today’s Pill
The original Pill of the 1960’s had to be modified due to side effects. Many versions of today’s combination Pill have a reduced hormonal content, increasing the chance of you conceiving a son or daughter. (6) Simply missing one tablet, or failing to take the Pill at the same time each day increases the chances of breakthrough ovulation. (7,8)

Reactions with other drugs increase the chances of breakthrough ovulation, especially with caffeine and nicotine, or any prescription medicine. (8)

Makers of the new “mini-pill” claim it does not have the combination pill’s side effects. They don’t tell you that scientific research shows the mini-pill does not stop ovulation at all in 67-81% of the women who use it, (9) so the probability of conception is much higher.

Estimates of breakthrough ovulation for the Pill’s cousins also are even higher:

Norplant 50-65% of the time (10)
Depo-Provera 40-60% of the time (11)
The IUD 100% of the time (12)

Betrayed
If you are taking these products to avoid abortion, now you know that they have betrayed you and your children. These products do not completely stop conception. In fact, you risk ending the life of a newly conceived son or daughter every month by birth control abortion. An average couple would lose three children a year. (14)

Proof
The Food and Drug Administration Stated in 1978 that:

Combination oral contraceptives… make alterations in the genital tract including changes in the … endometrium (which reduce the likelihood of implantation)… but progestogen only contraceptives (re: mini-pills) are known to alter the cervical mucus, exert a progestational effect on the endometrium, interfering with implantation. (Emphasis added) (15)

From Medical Publications

The Physicians’ Desk Reference quoted a Searle brochure that states the mini-pill:

…keeps sperm from reaching the egg…and…makes the womb (uterus) less receptive to any fertilized egg that reaches it. (Emphasis added) (16)

Nursing ’85 Drug Handbook states:

Progestogen… also causes endometrial changes that prevent implantation of the fertilized ovum. (Emphasis added) (17)

The Pill – How Does It Work? By Albert D. Lorincz, M.D.: Cites a study of 1,200 women given a daily amount of progestogen equivalent to many birth control pills. 60% of them ovulated. (18)

Birth Control: Why Are They Lying to Women? By J.C. Espinoza, M.D. page 27 cites research by Roland which showed a 30% ovulation rate in women taking a combined Pill preparation. (18)

From Birth Control Advocates
Lawyers from pro-abortion organizations have admitted in print and in legal briefs that these products cause abortions. A Tulane Law School Professor wrote:

…nearly all birth control devices, except the diaphragm and the condom, operate between the time of conception…and implantation…(Emphasis added) (19)

Attorney Frank Sussman argued in the U.S. Supreme Court:

. . . IUDs and low dose birth control pills . . . act as abortifacients. (20)

Abortifacient is the medical term for any abortion causing preparation.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW THE TRUTH
To you who have used these products, this is very sobering news. Pharmaceutical companies and medical providers have made you an unwitting accomplice to your own children’s death by birth control abortion.

The Pill and its cousins kill children earlier in their life than surgical abortion, so they cause many more deaths than surgical abortions. (13)

ACT ON THE TRUTH
You cherish your children. You know abortion is wrong. Continuing the use of these abortifacient products, now that you know the facts, IS MURDER.

THE BIG LIE
The pharmaceutical companies adopted an absolutely untruthful, totally unscientific medical definition of when a child is conceived to sell their products with the label “contraceptives.” This definition says conception occurs only when your baby successfully attaches to your uterus’ lining.

The real medical truth.
You conceive a child when a sperm penetrates one of your eggs. This is called fertilization. From that point on you have a brand new, genetically complete son or daughter.

The pharmaceutical industry has a multi billion-dollar business selling these abortifacients. Even many who prescribe these products or work in clinics are, despite their sincerity and desire to help women, unaware of these homicidal properties.

When the medical profession subscribed to the Hippocratic Oath, in it they pledged to never perform an abortion. Tragically, today’s medical profession betrays your trust by renouncing this ethic. They do not inform you of the abortions these abortifacients cause.

FORGIVENESS
If you have used these products and have unwittingly killed your sons and daughters, receive this comfort in your sorrow. Jesus, the Son of God, paid the entire price for all sins by His death on a cross two thousand years ago. Make Him your Lord and Savior today.

Renounce these products and any wickedness that is in your life. Receive His forgiveness and the free gift of salvation through His Son. He is gracious to all who will repent.

The person giving you this brochure probably could help you to know this Savior and receive His forgiveness and comfort. This person cares for you and your children. Their reward is helping others.

This desire comes from God, our Creator, Who made us so intricately and crafted us so masterfully. No problem is greater that the One who created us all. Surrender you life to Him today. (John 20: 25-29)
