An Open Letter to Virginia Senators and Delegates Regarding Homosexuality

(Hand delivered to each VA State Senator and Delegate on the day before Homosexual Lobby Day)

Dear Virginia Senators and Delegates,

I’m writing this letter to encourage you to stand for that which is good and right. With all of the important matters you face, you must have a righteous standard to guide your decision making. Without such a standard you can easily be persuaded to promote and support bills that are not worthy of such promotion or support.

The Scriptures are the standard by which we will all be judged and you are not excluded. Please seek to find out where you should stand on issues by learning where God stands on those issues. This is not hard to do if you are serious about being a trustworthy leader.

Though many men and women debate over issues surrounding homosexuality, the Scriptures are crystal clear on the matter. Seek truth there and don’t be swayed by pressures to do that which is contrary to that which is eternally pure, right and good.

I hope and pray that you choose to fulfill your role as a Senator or Delegate in a manner that pleases the God to whom we will all give account.
