October 2006 LLM Update
October 29, 2006
We have been very busy over the last couple months so I'd like to bring you up to date with what has been happening.
We've gotten lots of feedback from City officials following our exposure of the vile public performance at the Gay Pride VA Festival in Richmond. I even had the opportunity to address the Richmond City Council regarding this matter. Here is just one letter we received from the Mayor's office.
Dear Mr. Green,
Your recent letter to Mayor Wilder concerning certain behavior connected with the Gay Pride VA Pride Fest at the 17th St. Market was very troubling to us.
The statements you quoted in your letter that were uttered by "Lady Bunny", and posted on your website, are outrageous, offensive and should not be acceptable for adults to encounter-much less children. While the City of Richmond cannot control what is said in public, we do have a responsibility when persons are using facilities under our control.
That being the case, the Department of Economic Development will be reviewing with their attorney what actions can be taken. Rest assured the Mayor takes very seriously any breach of the public order that citizens may take offense with. Needless to say any request by Gay Pride VA for future permits, if contemplated, will have to be met with strict assurances on the behavior and demeanor by all participants.
Thank you for bringing this to the Mayor's attention.
I want to thank all of you who wrote letters, sent e-mails and made phone calls on behalf of the children that where exposed to this evil.

The VA, DC and MD Campus Tour was great. We had 66 participants and the gospel was boldly proclaimed. Included in the schedule were stops at VCU, Howard University and George Washington University. Here is a campus newspaper article that ran following our visit. This one is from George Washington University.
Here is another article from The Daily Colonial.
Check out the photos. More will be added.
Following the VA Tour, we traveled to PA to work with Repent America on a Philadelphia area Tour.

Check out the photos that we have posted.
Several campus papers ran stories. Always keep in mind when you read these articles that it is often the objective of the writer to discredit the gospel ministry that took place. We are often referred to as activists or protesters. We are neither. We are Christians who take the call to go into all the world seriously and our outreaches are built around the proclaimation of the gospel through preaching, one-on-one interaction and gospel tract distribution. Here is one article from Princeton University. The handsome fellow on the front is Christian Green. He turned fourteen during the tour.
Next month we will travel to South Carolina to work with Columbia Christians for Life to put on a four day Face the Truth Tour. It is scheduled for November 24-27. Please keep LLM in your prayers.
