July 2007 Ministry Update

July 26, 2007

Here is a very brief overview of some of LLM’s recent happenings and upcoming events.

Babies Saved!
Many babies are saved from death as we minister at the killing centers. Here are just a few reports from the last couple months.

July 5, 2007 Baby saved at RMCW.

June 23, 2007 Baby saved at ACWHC. A team of thirteen Christians was on site when a couple left the mill waving their money and stating that they got a refund and were going to let their baby live.

June 6, 2007 Baby saved at RMCW.

May 30, 2007 Baby saved at RMCW.

April 28, 2007 A large group of Christians showed up for outreach at RMCW. A woman arrived to have her baby aborted and was approached by some Mt. Gilead brothers and sisters. They ministered to the woman and she decided to let her child live.

April 5, 2007 (Report from Mary Penner) I was at the mill with Paul trout. A young couple approached and I talked with them. I caught the woman's attention when I mentioned that abortion hurts women and we talked for a while. She took some literature and walked on in saying, "I'll think about that." They came out a little while later and she said, "No abortion."

April 4, 2007 (Report from Mary Penner) A family came walking past us into the mill. The mother and daughter walked right on as I talked with them but the father stopped, listened and took some literature. A while later they came back out, all smiles. I said, "It's good to see you leaving this place." They replied, "Yes, we changed our mind." I said, "Great, Praise God, I knew there was a reason we were supposed to be here today." The father turned around and agreed with me as they walked away.

February 24, 2007 (Report from the Abortion Ministry of Mt Gilead) God used Elvira Smith and myself to save a life. We asked a young lady is she would come over to speak with us as we normally do. She came over and indicated to us that she had asked God for a sign not to abort her baby. God took over from there and really ministered to her. She not only decided to keep her baby but also prayed the prayer of salvation. She called her Mom to give her the praise report and Elvira and I were able to talk to and minister with the Mom also.

February 10, 2007 Several babies saved from death at RMCW.

January 23, 2007 Today Mary, Christian and I were at RMCW. Here's Mary's account of what happened. "A couple went into the abortion clinic and I called out to them telling them that we had help available. They came out and sat in their car for a while and then she got out and walked back inside. As she was walking toward the clinic, I spoke to her some more. He then came over and took some literature from me. He said that he had been trying to talk her out of the abortion for a week now. She finally changed her mind and didn’t go through with it so they left. He then said, "Thank you for being here!

Large Literature Purchases
We distribute literature on a large scale and the need to replace our supplies is always before us. At this time LLM needs to pay off several large bills for gospel literature that are coming due. Please consider helping us with this expense. We can’t do it without the support of the Body of Christ as you stand with us.

Richmond Literature Project
The Richmond Literature Project is moving ahead and huge sections of the City have already been covered. We still have much work to accomplish. LLM welcomes others to help with the literature distribution. Let us know if you’d like to lend a hand. This project is getting pro-life and gospel literature to every dwelling in the City limits.

Hate Crimes?

Those who don’t openly and publicly share the whole counsel of God don’t understand the dangers of “hate crime” laws. As one who has been charged with the violation of such laws, I fully understand the reach they will have into the lives of Christians who boldly speak truth. I, and ten other Christians, faced 47 years in prison for sharing the gospel at a homosexual festival several years ago. That was in Philadelphia. This Bill will make the same Gospel witness illegal Nationwide. This is not an overstatement. LLM recently joined with other Christians in D.C. to voice our opposition to Senate Bill 1105. This bill, if passed, will lead to the prosecution of Christians who declare Biblical truth on moral issues.

Family Update
Our Children are healthy and a great blessing. Ruthy has been spending lots of time with my mother (88 yrs. old) who had a stroke about a year ago. She’s been very busy with home schooling, raising our babies and her duties with my mother. Pray that she will find the strength to keep up her busy work load and have good sleep when it’s available. LLM travels often up and down the East coast to minister at events where large crowds are gathered. Please pray that there will be much fruit from our many ministry outreaches.

Face The Truth Tours
Three Truth Tours are scheduled for September and October. We will be touring in West Virginia on September 10-14. A Pennsylvania tour is scheduled for Oct. 3-11. Our Virginia tour will be on Oct. 15-19. If you have a heart for the lost consider joining with us on the street.

Keep Us On The Street
Please help keep us on the street to minister the Gospel and to stand on behalf of the children scheduled to be killed at the abortuaries. Babies are saved and the Gospel is preached as we daily minister on the streets and at the killing centers. If you can't be there, please help those of us who are. One-time gifts or monthly support helps to cover the cost of literature, fuel, vehicle repairs, and missionary support (family of twelve), etc. etc. Giving has decreased in recent months but LLM’s expenses haven’t.
