April 29, 2008 Fred Neal was standing by the street corner at Richmond Medical Center for Women (abortuary) when a work truck pulled up. The passenger gave the following encouraging report.
He first thanked Fred for being there and said that he has a two year old daughter at home due to our ministry at the clinic. He had come to the clinic a couple years prior with his wife and had decided to give their child life after speaking with the sidewalk counselors. He was very appreciative and asked us to keep up the good work!

February 23, 2008 Two babies saved. Below are two testimonies of what happened...
First:
One young lady who is 21 years old was approached by a counselor and her
boyfriend by another counselor. They were ministered to separately at length.
She wasn't saying anything but shaking her head as if saying, "no I'm going to do this". She then said that she had to go - that's when she and her friend went in. When they came out, she said that she couldn't do it and said thank you. Her and her boyfriend were crying as we prayed with both of them.
Second:
A counselor saw a couple of people get out of two separate vehicles - the
counselors were ministering to them as they all got out of their
vehicles to go in - they just didn't want to hear it. After awhile they
all came out and were fussing at each other back and forth about who was
supposed to have the money!!! Then the one lady - who appeared to be the mother of either the girl or the boy stood there and talked with one of the nurses a long time before she started yelling at the boy and girl again about having the money. They finally did all leave without the girl having the abortion.
February 20, 2008 A couple took literature from Mary as they walked toward RMCW. Mary called out as they neared the door and the man came back over to speak with Mary and Cliff. The man said that he was going in to tell her not to do it. About a half hour later the woman came out with a big smile and said to Mary, "I took your advice, I'm not going to have it." They then took Gospel tracts from Paul and left.
January 26, 2008 Baby saved at RMCW. A girl pulled out of theparking lot and told Eric that she had changed her mind.
January 22, 2008 Two babies saved at RMCW. A couple appoarched the rear door of the abortuary as Denny and Mary spoke truth to them. The girl stopped and began to weep. She walked away from the door and cried as she listened to Denny speak. She then walked back to the vehicle and they drove up to us. They accepted our literature and we offered help. They then left sying thank you.
A short time later a girl walked out to Mary and told her that she had changed her mind and wasn't going to kill her baby. She took literature and read it as she waited for her ride.
January 12, 2008 Baby saved at RMCW. A young couple prayed for faith to trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior, and chose life for their unborn baby by trusting Father God to provide for all their needs!
As they drove slowly into the driveway of Richmond Medical Center for Women abortion clinic, they were approached by several sidewalk counselors:
"Please, would you stop and let us have a word with you?"
"In the name of Jesus..." "Let us pray with you?"
And... Sure enough!
They briefly stopped, rolled down the window, said they'd be right back, parked their car, and then just sat inside... And sat... And sat...
Meanwhile, we prayed! And sure enough! Good to their word, in answer to our prayers, and obviously in the grip of the Holy Ghost -- they walked back out to the sidewalk and began speaking with our ministers.
This intense witness lasted for twenty minutes or more!
By the end of which the young couple had prayed for faith to trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior, and had chosen life for their unborn baby by trusting Father God to provide for all their needs!
They returned to their car, listened to a ministry tape for several tense minutes, and finally drove away to the cheers of rejoicing from all ministers present.
January 11, 2008 Baby saved at RMCW. A young gir walked out of the driveway looking for her ride. Mary handed her a literature packet and said something about it being wrong to kill babies. The girl said,"I know, that's why I'm not doing it." Mary said,"You were going to have an abortion but you're not going through with it?" She said yes and went on to tell about her two babies, a one year old and a 6 month old and said that this was the closest she had every gotten to having an abortion, but couldn't do it. Mary shared the gospel with her as she waited for her ride.
January 3, 2008 Two girls drove out of RMCW and took literature. One of the girls said that she was not doing it.
December 8, 2007 A baby is saved at RMCW. (Report from Fred N.)After the Gileadite post-abortion counselors arrived, two vehicles left, with one stopping, taking our literature and telling us that they'd changed their minds about abortion and were keeping their baby!
December 9, 2007 One young girl left after an ultrasound, and said she was not going to kill her baby. Fred and Diana were present.
November 30, 2007 A couple changed thier mind, deciding to let their baby live. They spoke with Paul briefly as they left. They gladly accepted a literature packet.
November 28, 2007 Two babies saved. I was at RMCW with Mary, Fred, Diana, Paul, Hosanna and Malachi. We engaged an hispanic couple in conversation. It was rather difficult due to the fact that the wife spoke no English and the husband spoke broken English. Dispite the language barrier we were able to talk with him (Pedro) for some time. I called a Spanish speaking friend on the cell phone and putthem on with Pedro. A long conversation followed. During this time our ladies prayed with and for Pedro's wife. They decided to keep rtheir baby and we were able to point them toward a Christian medical clinic that would provide free care for them.
Shortly thereafter, another couple left the clinic telling Diana and Fred that they also changed their mind.
November 24, 2007 Mt. Gilead and Good News churches had a team on the sidewalk at RMCW. A baby was saved late in the morning.
Baby saved at RMCW as Christians from Mt. Gilead ministered to abortion bound mothers.
November 8, 2007 Two babies saved at RMCW. Mary, Fred, Noah, Nathan and I were ministering at RMCW. Two women drove up and Mary approached them as they were passing by. She gave the driver a literature packet and began to talk to them. The passenger asked for literature also and they drove into the parking lot. For ten minutes, they sat and read the information as we prayed. Eventually they entered the building. A short time later, the passenger came out and walked up to Mary. She said that both her friend and herself were four months pregnant and they were both going to have thir babies killed. She also said that she had prayed that if God did not want her to do it, He would not allow it to happen. I told her that we were the answer to that prayer etc. etc. . She eventually decided to let her baby live and prayed with Mary and I.
She said that her friend was still committed and wouldn't change her mind. After some more conversation, she reentered the "clinic".
We continued to pray.
After about twenty minutes had passed, they both walked out of the abortuary and drove back over to Mary. The girl who had first changed her mind got out of the vehicle and gave Mary a hug. Her friend had also decided not to kill her child and was in tears.
They were encouraged to call us or the CPC if they needed help and we rejoiced as they drove away.

Diana also spoke to the woman. The man later came out and I spoke to him again. Soon the man reentered the mill and came out with the woman and stood outside as the woman seemed to become emotional. They then walked back to their car as Diana spoke to the woman a bit more and gave her some literature.

April 4, 2007 (Report from Mary Penner) Jerry and I were on the sidewalk. A family came walking past us into the mill. The mother and daughter walked right on as I talked with them but the father stopped, listened and took some literature. A while later they came back out, all smiles. I said, "It's good to see you leaving this place." They replied, "Yes, we changed our mind." I said, "Great, Praise God, I knew there was a reason we were supposed to be here today." The father turned around and agreed with me as they walked away.
April 5, 2007 (Report from Mary Penner) I was at the mill with Paul trout. A young couple approached and I talked with them. I caught the woman's attention when I mentioned that abortion hurts women and we talked for a while. She took some literature and walked on in saying, "I'll think about that." They came out a little while later and she said, "no abortion." "So you're not going to do it", I asked. "I'm still thinking about it", she replied. I prayed with her and they left with my advice to go to the CPC as she "thinks".
April 28, 2007 A large group of Christians showed up for outreach at RMCW. A woman arrived to have her baby aborted and was approached by some Mt. Gilead brothers and sisters. They ministered to the woman and she decided to let her child live.
February 24, 2007 Report from the Abortion Ministry of Mt Gilead. God used Elvira Smith and myself (Sundra Johnson) to save a life. We asked a young Caucasian lady is she would come over to speak with us as we normally do. She came over and indicated to us that she had asked God for a sign not to abort her baby. God took over from there and really ministered to her. She not only decided to keep her baby but also prayed the prayer of
salvation. She called her Mom to give her the praise report and Elvira
and I were able to talk to and minister with the Mom also. I obtained her number and followed up with her on Saturday evening. I will continue to follow up with her and pray for her. Keep her in your prayers also.
February 10, 2007 Several babies saved from death at RMCW. Fred, Angela T., Clarence, Carol, Joyce, Angela B. & Debra were present.
January 23, 2007 Today Mary, Christian and I were ministering at RMCW. Here's Mary's account of what happened.
"A couple went into the abortion clinic and I called out to them telling them that we had help available. They went into the clinic for a while and then came back outside while having a very animated conversation. They sat in their car for a while and then she got out and walked back inside. As she was walking toward the clinic, I spoke to her some more. He then came over and took some literature from me. He said that he had been trying to talk her out of the abortion for a week now. Both of their families were against the abortion and she has finally changed her mind and is not going through with it so they were leaving. He then said, "Thank you for being here!"
December 16, 2006 Three babies saved today at RMCW. The Mt. Gilead crew were ministering on the street.
November 11, 2006 Three or four babies saved! Report from Fred Neal. "HALLELUJAH!" So shouted the young man, joyfully raising his hands in praise to the Living & only True God of Heaven. He was excited -- very excited! His baby was still alive...
Today, three or four ( or more! ) young women chose LIFE! -- life for their unborn child, and blessing for their own life! The first such changed life was indicated when a grinning and obviously elated young man, coming out of the abortion clinic, following closely behind his lady friend, hollered over to us:
"Well, she decided not to do it -- thanks to you all! Hallelujah!" Driving away, with the mother of his child smiling beside him, he paused to roll down his window and once again thank us.
September 5, 2006 Possibly two babies were saved today. A couple arrived at RMCW and we spoke to them briefly as they entered the building. They later came out and as the car passed us, an excited father gave us a "thumbs up" and joyfully said, "We're going to keep it!"
A second couple left the mill after we spoke with them and gave them literature. The girl seemed very relieved while the man who accompanied her looked quite upset over her decision to depart.
August 8, 2006 A baby was saved at RMCW. A young mother came to the abortuary to have her baby killed. The Richmond CPC had this report in their newsletter, "Vanessa had an appointment at the abortion clinic. As the abortion procedures were reviewed, she became so distressed that she left the clinic and came to CPC.. Denny and Christian were ministering on this day.
August 3, 2006 Mary Penner, Noah and I were ministering at ACWHC and it was a busy day. A woman parked in the lot and walked toward the entrance while I called out to her to come over to get some of our literature. She hesitated a little as I shared truth but then walked into the killing center.
After about twenty minutes she came back outside and I called out to her again. This time she walked over and took our information. I spoke with her briefly and she went to her car. As she drove out, she stopped and thanked us for being there. She said that she was pregnant and was going to leave.
July 15, 2006 A baby is saved at RMCW. The Mt. Gilead team and Fred Neal were present.
July 8, 2006 A couple babies were saved at RMCW. Five brothers and sisters from Mt. Gilead were ministering and Greene Hollowell was present also.
July 6, 2006 Mary Penner, Hosanna and I were ministering at ACWHC in Henrico. On this particular morning the Father gave me great freedom in preaching to those gathered at the door of the abortuary. About six women and a man were standing around and listening to me (though pretending not to). Several were clearly under great conviction and left before the killing began. One girl stood around listening and called her boyfriend to come pick her up. It was quite obvious that he didn't want to come but she left with baby still intact. On days like this one, when our words are having a great effect, the clinic workers will come out and try to get the girls to stop listening to us and come inside. It just wasn't working, halleluYah!
June 30, 2006 A baby was saved at RMCW. I spoke with a young couple as they approached the door of the abortuary. They came back over to speak with me. The couple were from Guatemala and spoke only broken English. I called Ruthy and had her speak with the husband in Spanish. Ultimately they left the clinic and said that they would call the CPC on monday.
June 10, 2006 Two or three babies saved from death at RMCW. Mark G., Greene H. and eight brothers and sisters from Mt. Gilead were ministering that day.
April 26, 2006 As a couple drove into RMCW, they were shown the front cover of our flyer with a picture of a preborn girl and the caption, "She's a Child, not a Choice." They looked at it for a while and then parked the car. After talking for some time to one another they left the premises without entering the clinic. Mary, Hosanna and Denny were present.
April 8, 2006 A minister from Mt. Gilead, Elder Derricott; and one of their regulars, Trevor DePass, were at RMCW this morning.
A young couple, whom they had previously ministered to, left about 10 minutes after Abortionist Baker arrived. As they passed Trevor he handed them a ministry tape and they told him they had decided to keep their baby.
April 7, 2006 (Fred Neal's report) A shiny, black PT Cruiser pulled out of the back alley parking lot. As it passed, I said nothing. It stopped in front of me, and then the passenger-side window was rolled down. I could now see the young Hispanic driver, and she had obviously been crying. She leaned over and, choking with emotion, said:
"I'm not going to do it. I saw you all here and I couldn't go through with it."
"So, you were going to have an abortion, but now you're not?"
"Yes, that's right. I know God sent you all here, because I've been praying to Him for a sign, and then I came and saw you all here with your signs. I just couldn't do it."
"Praise God!"
"Yes, and thank you all for being here."
"Praise Jesus! Is there any thing more we can do for you and your baby? We're here to help, and we have a local Crisis Pregnancy Center that's real good. They're staffed with loving Christian women, who can counsel you, as well as provide medical help and things for you and your baby -- all out of love for God, not money."
"Well, yes, okay. Thank you."
I then asked that she pull over so I could get her the information. After handing her a packet, I asked if we could pray. She eagerly agreed. I asked:
"Are you a Christian?" (FYI: statistics indicate that between seventy & eighty percent of women seeking abortion identify themselves as Christian, with about half Protestant & half Catholic.)
"Well..." she demurred. "I'm Catholic..."
"Well, let's pray."
As I prayed -- "In Jesus name!" -- I could hear her also praying, out of what seemed to be a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
Please pray for Carla Reyes and her husband, Kenneth, and their 8 year old son and 8 week old unborn baby.
To God be the glory!
January 11, 2006 A baby was saved at RMCW. A young young woman drove into the parking lot and then as she walked to the entrance of the abortuary, I called out to her. She stopped and listened to all I had to say. I asked for her to come over and she did. I shared more information with her and she began to cry. She knew we cared and decided to follow me to the CPC. She told the CPC counselor that she "knew the Lord had brought us to her."
During week of Jan. 3-6, 2006 A baby is saved at RMCW. A CPC client had decided to have her baby killed. She arrived at RMCW for her appointment and encountered our sidewalk counselors. She decided to let her baby live and said that it was the literature that we gave her that changed her mind.
The following is an excerpt from the Richmond CPC newsletter:
Donna, prayer request 12/16, returned to CPC and reported "I am going to carry to term." Her counselor asked her what changed her mind. The client said "I went to the [abortion] clinic and someone gave me information that convinced me I really didn't want an abortion." That someone was a Christian sidewalk counselor. They are unrelated to CPC, but faithful God-fearing Christians that greet women and men entering the abortion clinic. We thank God for them and celebrate Donna's decision for life!
