LLM Update - Obama in Roanoke, Truth Truck, Babies Saved!
October 17, 2008
Is sidewalk counseling at abortion clinics a waste of time?
Sidewalk outreach at the killing centers is so very rewarding when we see mothers choose to let their babies live just moments before the scheduled killing of their child.
In the last 2 weeks we have seen 6 confirmed saves at RMCW. HalleluYah!
Please continue to pray for the outreach team, the mothers who are scheduled to have their babies killed, and the babies who will die without a voice if the Church stays home.
Won't you ask the Father if He would have you minister with us?
OBAMA AND LLM VISIT ROANOKE
On Friday, Oct. 17, Barak Obama came to Roanoke to stir up his admirers at the Civic center. The Truth Truck was also in attendence at the Civic Center and most of those attending the event had to file past our display as they entered the event.
Check out the video footage of the Truth Truck
When we first pulled into the Civic Center parking lot, we were approached by a policeman who told us we could not be there. I reminded the officer that this was a public event. He said that it was private property and I would not be able to park. Once again I reminded the officer that the event was open to the public. He then stated that we could only park if we were attending the event. So Christian decided to go on inside and listen to Obama's ramblings. After five hours we left having been seen by thousands.
Our presence was mentioned in the following news article. NEWS ARTICLE
Following our Rally appearance in Roanoke, we visited the Obama campaign office in Farmville for an hour or so. Nothing destroys lies like the truth.
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SEE THE REALITY OF ABORTION
During the next few weeks we will be working overtime on the street with the Truth Truck. The picture on the right is from a recent visit to Virginia Commonwealth University. We hope to visit numerous universities to show them the truth about abortion. Please consider helping us to keep fuel in the tank. Your gifts and prayers are appreciated.
